Jersey City carries the densest concentration of residential towers in New Jersey, with the Exchange Place and Newport waterfront and the Journal Square redevelopment area producing repeated 40-plus-story mixed-use construction on a scale no other municipality in the state matches.
That tower stock is glazed almost entirely in curtain wall, with ground-floor retail podiums under residential above — two completely different glazing scopes stacked in one building, usually on the same construction schedule.

Tower construction at this height is unitized curtain wall by default: the panels are shop-glazed, hoisted and hung from the slab edge floor by floor, because stick-built assembly on a 40-story exposed waterfront elevation is not schedulable.
